This quilt is not very difficult as far as cutting goes and the pieces are fairly large.  You really are making three main blocks. Large half square triangles, rectangles and smaller half square triangles.  It's the placement of the blocks and the different color combinations that make this quilt look so unique.

You will need the pattern - Backslash by Robin Pickens, fabric as indicated in pattern depending on size.

In addition you will need to bring to class:  sewing machine, rotary cutter, ruler, thread, pins.

The Clearly Perfect Slotted Trimmers were used to trim my smaller half square triangle blocks.  These trimmers made it so fast and easy.  They aren't required because you can trim your half square triangles using the method you prefer.
