Trip Around the World Weekend Workshop with Melanie

There are many technique options you can use to make this quilt!  We will be using the Donna Jordan pattern, where you cut individual squares and lay them out.  However, Melanie has a speed technique where you sew strips together, create a tube and then you very quickly have your rows together.  When you register for the class, Melanie will contact you to see which technique you would like to use.  The fabric requirements and cutting are different for each technique, so you should make that decision before you start choosing and cutting your fabrics.

Friday night class will be 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm and you will be cutting and starting to lay out your fabrics.
Saturday class will be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and you will continue laying out your fabrics and starting your piecing
Sunday class will be 10:00 am - 4:00 pm and you will finish your piecing and complete your quilt top!

Meals will not be included, but there is Mollie Stones nearby, as well as a variety of door dash options.  There are also several places close by where you can go and sit down for lunch if you'd prefer.  We will give you more details on meal options on the day(s) of classes.

Class fee is $75 and includes all three days.  Note that you can leave your machines set up overnight on Friday and Saturday.
