99" x 99" Queen Size
The Carnival Flower Technique of the Month (TOM) pattern is exclusive to Judy Niemeyer Certified Shops. Kits are also available in a variety of color ways, or we can create a custom color way for you! Patterns are not included in the kits and must be purchased separately. The Queen pattern includes: Instructions, Cover Sheet, Yardage Information, Foundation Papers and laser cut stitch and peel sheets for the applique circles and gumdrops. The fabric kits include all of the fabric needed for the top, plus the binding.
Patterns and most kits will be available in January 2023. The Maple Leaf kit will be available in February, and the Coffee House will be avilable in March. Replacement papers are also available, if you'd like to make a second quilt and you already have the pattern instructions. Replacement papers include foundation papers only - no instructions.
A Machine Embroidery CD from Fabric Confetti is available to stich down your applique circles and gumdrops if you'd like to use that technique to attach your applique. We also have Hemingworth Thread Kits to match each color way. Scroll down to the Suggested Products area to view and/or purchase the Machine Embroidery CD.
Backing featuring fabric that coordinates with your kit is available. For some kits we have both 108" and 45". In other cases, we may only have 45" or 108". Please specify which kit/color way you would like to match in the comments section of your order when selecting backing. If you have a specific color that you'd like, please let us know that as well in the comments section of your order.
This project is also available in a Wall Size. Both Patterns and Kits are available in wall size. The Wall Pattern also includes laser cut stitch and peel pieces for the applique circles. Wall finishes at 80" x 80". Click on the Carnival Flower Wall in the Suggested Products area at the end of this listing.
A King Extension Border pattern is also available. For the Queen size, you can choose an additional fabric border to extend your project to King size. You will get enough fabric (3 yards) to extend your quilt to 118" x 118". Specify in the comments section of your order which colorway you would like to extend.
For the Wall size, you can use the Wagon Wheels King Extension Border pattern if you'd like a pieced border. This pattern is available in the Suggested Products area. Just let us know what you'd like to do!
We also have a Virtual Carnival Flower Class with Certified Instructor Michele Everts starting in February. The class is videotaped and the instructor is available for questions between sessions if needed. We'd love to have you join us!
