Cosmic Shimmer is constructed using five distinct sections: Group J is comprised of (8) center diamonds; Groups K and L radiate out from the center star in two additional rounds of (8) star points each; and Groups B and C are pieced borders added to the rounds to result in a 68″-square quilt. The quilt blocks were designed by Judy and Bradley Niemeyer. The layout and colorway was created by Judel Niemeyer using Quiltster. Quilt size 68"x68".
This Cosmic Shimmer queen kit features the Cafe au Lait batik fabric collection from Hoffman Fabrics. Kit includes all of the fabric needed to make the quilt top, and binding. The queen size is 99" x 99". Pattern is purchased separately from the kit.
