Come one, come all to a Day at the Fair! Kimberbell's one day machine embroidery event includes three prize-worthy projects with a fair theme. Transform a buffalo check tote into a blue ribbon pie carrier, topped with a delectable, over-the-edge cherry pie! Then whip up your first prize preserves tea towel, available in two sizes and jam-packed with dimensional details such as mylar strawberries, applique glitter, and more! Our best in show hen oven mitt is really something to crow about, with threes sizes and two side pockets for your fingers and thumb. All projects are made in a 5x7 and 6x10 hoop with a variety of techniques. There's something for everyone at Kimberbell's Day at the Fair! Given the stay at home mandates, Kimberbell is allowing us to do our May 3rd Day at the Fair event as a Virtual event!!! Usually the only way to do a Kimberbell event is to come to the shop to do it! We will be creating a private Facebook group for our event, and only registrants will be allowed to attend. Mary Ann will be there every step of the way, and we will have videos by Kim Christopherson (the Kim of Kimberbell) to personally show our attendees how to do these projects!! We can follow along with her for each project. We will also offer the opportunity to qualify for the Bonus CD with a $ 100 purchase of Kimberbell products. The Bonus CDs always have some really cute projects! Kits can be picked up at the shop before the event (no contact pick-up), or you can have your kit shipped to you directly from Kimberbell if you?d like. If so, I need to have your registration by Monday morning to be on the drop ship list. We will have fun as a group to embroider these cute projects and still be able to comply with social distancing and stay at home orders. You don?t have to pack up your machine and bring it to the shop. You will be able to follow along with us from your own sewing room! And Mary Ann will be there to answer questions and help with any problems you may have. A Hemingworth Thread Kit is also available for this event.
