Do you love Chickens? Join us for our fun Saturday Sampler Applique 2019-2020 and make this awesome Funky Chickens quilt! Pre-register now for this fun project starting in June! Quilt size: 60" x 77.5" Registration fee of $ 45.00 will get you started with the pattern and the first block. Bring the completed block back the following month and receive the feature fabrics for your next block FREE. Each block kit will have all the feature fabrics needed to make your blocks, including the block frames. You will need to provide your own background fabrics for the blocks, or you can purchase our background kit with the fun chicken wire fabric that you need for the project. The sampler project runs for 12 months. Sashing, cornerstones and binding are included in the finishing kit if you choose to purchase it. The sashing fabric is black chicken wire fabric. So cute! Note: In addition to the first block and pattern, your registration package will include fabric strips for the beaks, eyes, eye background, platform for feet, and the burgandy "comb" on the chicken's head. These strips will be what you need for all 12 of the blocks. You will need to bring your finished block to our monthly meeting on the 3rd Saturday at 9 am or the 4th Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm. You'll also receive a 'free pass' to use one time if you are unable to come and get your free block on the designated date and time. If you are unable to come, you can purchase your block at any time during the month. Sampler Participant Note: each month you will get the feature fabric to make the 16" block. You will need to provide your own background, sashing, border, and binding fabrics, or purchase our background and/or finishing kits. Note: if you are not local and would like to do this as a traditional block of the month, we'd love to have you join us! For the traditional block of the month, it will be $ 14.95 per month, for 12 months, and that will include your pattern and all fabrics for the top, including sashing, borders and binding. We are happy to ship to you each month. We also have full kits available with or without the pattern, and the kits include fabric for blocks, background, sashing, borders, and binding.
