Row by Row 2017 Row Junior FREE Pattern - Kits Available for Purchase

Row by Row continues with something very fun - Row by Row Junior! Kids can travel along with adults and get their very own FREE pattern! They can join in the fun and learn to sew too! We are offering all 5 patterns (although you can only get one per child when you come in to the shop) and kits for all of the patterns (you can purchase as many kits as you'd like and they all include a pattern)!
We have five different Row Jr. pattern/kit options - Big Wheels, Friendship Bracelets, High Top Sneakers, Rover, and Arrow. The fabrics in the kits are all bright primary colors, and Rover includes browns for the dog. The kids can choose to just make one or two rows, and make a pillow or small wall hanging, or they can make all five rows and complete it as a lap quilt!
Kids must be present to get the FREE Row pattern.
More about Row by Row: It's a different kind of Shop Hop! Row by Row Experience is a shop hop type event with no fees, no passports and all summer to play! Simply visit any of the participating shops throughout the US and Canada June 1st, 2023 through August 31st, 2023, and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt.
Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! Prizes, collectibles and more fun will be at each shop you visit!
Create a quilt using at least 8 different rows and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop?s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize! Prize deadlines to bring in your finished quilt are July 1st, 2023 through October 31, 2023.
Exclusive FabricPlates by Debra Gabel of Zebra Patterns will be available in shops around the country. Each one is unique! Collect a bunch to create fun projects, sewing studio wall art, or even a fun backing for your quilt. Each area (or state) has their own Facebook page for the Row by Row Experience. "Like" the page from the areas you visit to see pictures of the rows, shop displays, winning quilts and FabricPlate projects.
A little history: Row by Row began in 2011 with 20 quilt shops across New York State. In 2012 the event grew to include 62 participating shops. Pennsylvania came on board in 2013 for a total of 138 shops throughout the two states. In 2014 the event was moving across the country. Over 20 states were participating and planning fun for quilters nationwide. In 2015, all 50 states are participating as well as several Canadian Provinces. Although the quilt shops are organized by state, quilters have no borders. Travel, shop, collect patterns and add rows to your quilt from any area you visit.
The theme this year is "Summertime". Each shop has designed a row that will reflect that theme. Some shops are also offering kits for their row, or you can choose fabrics from your stash! Timeless Treasures has produced multiple Row by Row fabric collections, specially designed by Debra Gabel, and many of the shops are using those fabrics in their kits. Of course Always Quilting has the complete collections for you to enjoy!
When you visit Always Quilting in person, you will get your FREE Row pattern. SORRY WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EMAIL OR SEND YOU THE PATTERN; YOU MUST APPEAR IN PERSON TO REQUEST YOUR PATTERN. One FREE pattern per person. We also have kits for our row featuring fabrics fun, bright fabrics; they are so cute! And of course we also have the FabricPlates with our special Always Quiltn' license plate!
We have one applique row designed called Sunning by the Bay. We are also offering kits for our pattern. The applique kit has all the fabric you need to make the project, and it does include the FREE pattern.
