The Let Freedom Ring collage quilt is designed by Leslie McNeil for MarveLes Art Studios. Patterns and/or Kits are available. Paper pattern includes; full size drawing, two sizes (large and small); detailed instructions with supply list and full color photos. The Pattern also includes illustrative photos, tips on fusing, cutting, designing as well as binding and quilting.
The kit includes all Fabrics needed {exactly as featured in pattern photo}. The kit will make the large version, 24" x 26", or the small version, 17" x 26", and includes all the fabrics needed for either size: denim blue background, red and white fabrics for stripes, three special texture fabrics {as seen in photos} text words, a bonus patriotic panel with additional words, (to also make a backing label from), and 6 different floral fabrics with 12 pieces of pre-fused and hand-cut florals ready to peel and stick. Binding is included in a red/white heart print. Foundation Ease is also included.
Skill Level: Easy! This is a great project for the first time quilter or collage artist! This is a fusible raw-edge collage applique technique, where floral fabrics are fused to Steam A Seam 2 and cut out, then collaged into a fun flag quilt!
Note: Pattern Ease foundation is highly recommended for the large project.
