Wild About You, by McKenna Ryan for Pine Needles, offers patterns, kits and/or block of the month. Featuring beautiful batik fabrics, you will have so much FUN making these blocks each month!! You can purchase the kit all at once, or you can receive fabric and pattern for one block each month for six months. Patterns include instructions and full size pattern templates for all blocks. Patterns can be purchased separately, however, they are included in the fabric kits.
Both traditional and laser cut fabric kits are available. You can also purchase just one of the blocks and add border/binding for a wall hanging (ie monkeys, elephants, etc) or purchase the entire kit. For laser cut, the fabric is laser cut to match the pattern, with fusible already attached, and for this option, sashing, borders, and binding are purchased separately. Although a bit more expensive than the traditional project kits, the laser cut kits save you the time and expense of tracing on your fusible products, and since the fusible is already attached to the fabric - your pieces are ready to place and press down! This is a great way to save time on this project!
For the traditional version, the fabric kit includes all of the patterns, and the fabrics for the blocks, sashing, borders, and binding. If you are doing that one as a block of the month, then month six will include all fabric and binding to complete quilt as pictured. If you are doing the laser cut as a block of the month, then you will need to purchase those seperately, and they can be sent at any time. Fabrics are from McKenna's Congo Bay batik fabric line by Hoffman California Fabrics.
Backing from the collection for the full quilt and/or individual blocks is also available.
Note: You can also order individual blocks separately if you'd like to make just one (or two or more) blocks as a wall hanging. The center block is made up of four separate blocks, and you can order just one or all four if you'd like.
